Home Remedies to Cure Knee Pain

CAYENNE

Cayenne pepper is enriched with capsaicin which is excellent for providing relief mild to severe pain in the knees. For preparation you have to mix half cup coconut oil and 2 tsp of cayenne pepper pulp and mix it thoroughly. Apply this to knee area and keep it for twenty minutes. Then wash it off and your knee pain will feel a change.


Turmeric

 

Turmeric is filled with many active chemical like curcumin and has many antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This will help you get rid of knee pain fast. Just add little bit of honey to one tsp of powdered turmeric. Mix it with a glass of warm milk and drink. Continue doing it and you will see a visible change in your knee pain.

GARLIC and MUSTARD OIL

Make a past by taking a clove of garlic and put it in heated mustard oil. Apply it on your painful knee with a light hand in a circular motion. This massage will reduce the pain and will calm the inflammatory sensation in muscles of the affected area.

GINGER

Ginger has many anti-inflammatory properties to reduce and remove knee pain. Just apply it to the knee areas on a regular basis. To form a paste take a tsp of crushed ginger and add honey to drink this ginger tea daily. You will feel the knee pain much relieved.


EPSOM SALT

You can find Magnesium sulfate in Epsom salt which has been traditionally used for relieving knee pain, since ancient time. Pour 2 cups of Epsom salt in a warm water tub, mix it well and with a wet cloth apply on the knees for about 30 minutes. Keep doing this process on daily basis to get the relief quickly from unendurable knee pain.


Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek doesn’t need an introduction since it is filled with many properties. You have to grind a handful of roasted fenugreek seeds and turn it into powder. Take two tsp of this powder and make a paste by adding water. This paste has many anti-inflammatory properties and will stop the inflammation in the area and should be used on knee regularly until the pain stops.

COCONUT OIL

A massage with warm coconut oil will help you reduce the pain. Coconut oil contains many anti-inflammatory properties. In the addition this massage with coconut oil will improve the blood flow to the area and supply it with enough and adequate amount of nutrients that bone needs.
